What makes KinneretYoga teacher’s training course unique is that we create an empowering environment for women to learn yoga together as women. The content of our teacher’s training program explores the study of poses and breathing work as outlined by the standards of the Yoga Alliance association.
What is unique about our Yoga Alliance accredited course is that KinneretYoga teacher’s training uses Judaic-oriented sources for topics such as mindfulness in exercise and eating, the history and adaptability of yoga as a health system, and business and professional ethics. Classes and programs are comfortable for Jewish women and women of other ethnicities who prefer exercising in a woman’s fitness environment. As well, KinneretYoga reinforces the idea that yoga is an ancient and adaptable system that can optimize a person’s physical and inner well being without the need for one to immerse oneself in Hinduism and eastern spirituality.
We have been offering yoga teacher’s training programs in Israel and North America since 2007 and these courses have helped us to develop a resource of information with social media connections to a broader international Jewish community of women who share a passion for practicing yoga. We also offer yoga classes taught by Kinneret, a guide to international women’s classes taught by experienced instructors, connections to alumni of our course, and unique kosher getaway yoga retreats and India Jewish heritage/yoga tours for women.
